Today is Gonna Be Good

A year ago, I applied for a leadership program and was accepted. You take classes for a year that help you understand who you are as a leader and also helps you understand how everyone is different and so, needs different ways to be led...is the easiest way I can put it lol. Most people take this course to become a manager but me? I just wanna learn more about why I am the way I am...and whybothers are the way they are. Nosey ass 😒 lmao

So it starts by taking the Myers Briggs assessment. I'm an INFP. Surprised? Me neither...I was disappointed with the accuracy of these results. I just knew I was an extroverted, logical person lmao at least that's what I'm hoping others percieve me as I think. It's not intentional but I'm shy by nature, fun when comfortable. Yeeaa....that's what it is.

I avoid conflict like the plague...or now I can say I avoid it like Walmart in the middle of the pandemic. More relevant devastation for the youngins lol I'm also very in tune with feelings...if you couldnt tell. Unfortunately, my suspicions were correct and I make decisions based on my feelings...not gangsta at all so I've been working on controlling that reflex. I've learned to not reply so quickly. Take time and see if my decision wavers...

I learned about time management, which i already knew about lmao but I just didn't know how to implement something that worked for my schedule and routine. Yall dont understand...i literally have waybtoo much to keep up with 😭😤 the key to my consistency lately is using some good old fashioned discipline. I just beat myself with a switch when I get distracted lmao

The toughest thing I've tried adjusting is the way I speak. I don't know if it's an energy thing or if I was really raised to curse like a sailor man. And laugh and joke like one...but I'm definitely not a man lmao I wonder if it's because I grew up around boys but I had a ton of friends who were girls and cursed waaay more than the boys. My best friend and neighbor, the Ramsey family, taught me how to rip through souls with my insults. Best times of my childhood...Anyway, now I can't stop and I love it. It's so natural and I don't get to speak that way all day. I gotta let it ouutttt. By the time I let it out, I'm writing here or recording for here...I'm not perfect but I aim to be tolerable while comfortably me.

Anyway, today I graduate.I didn't invite or tell anyone because it's bigger than the crowd fr. Doing this for me. Yay lmao
