i'd like to give big ups to all of my readers who shared their very powerful stories and opinions with me.i can truly say that all of this has helped me realize that as much as i hate to admit it,i do have a grudge against everything and everybody tht i felt wasnt there for me in a timely matter i guess..and it is selfish of me,yes...but also human of me.i've decided to pick up a Bible since i have like 6 layin around the house for looks lol.im still not sure about goin to church tho...gotta talk myself into doin tht again bcuz last time was a fail and im affraid of churches,actually so...i dunno.one step is better than no steps!lol

Don't feel bad, I haven't been to church in over a year. Every once in a while I listen to Creflo Dollar, but its hard for me to step my foot in the church. Honestly sometimes I worry, they're going to make me feel more like crap than I already do by telling me how bad all my decisions are ... you know how much I hate rejection
ReplyDeleteArlington Church of Christ is where you should go. I was a member there when I was in Duval. Girl the people are godly and friendly and the word is straight from the Bible, not people's opinions, so you're getting the truth straight as it is. Plz plz plz whatever you do, go there and see what I'm talking about. And tell them Kei-Lara sent you :-D and to comment on what C.Straight said, I understand what you mean about feelin like people are going to be judging you, but if a preacher is preaching str8 from the Bible, then THEY are not judging you, it's you being convicted from the word of God and realizing that this message is for you. We all have done things that are not acceptable to God, wether we currently go to church or not, so don't feel ashamed to step into church because everybody there is in need of God's mercy, and we have that through Jesus Christ if we obey the gospel and His plan for salvation. I encourage you to visit the Arlington Church of Christ as well, you will definately feel at home and learn God's will for all of us. :-D
