So I'm back on my grind for the new year! Better believe I'm over 2009 like nobody's business lol. The whole Lorne situation is settled now. I had another chance to be with him, didn't think it was best for my long-term self so i said no,and now I've moved on. Sure, I missed him for a few days, and it was awkward when Tina asked why he wasn't coming around anymore but i explained to her as best as i could about what was goin on.she said "oh,whatever :)" and that thought was in the past lol. I was at FCCJ (FSCJ) but those professors weren't ready for me. The teaching style was a little slow for me and I felt like i was at a disadvantage because I was in a class with people who were unfamiliar with material that I got familiar with in like middle school. And I know some of you may like the "easy A" in a class but in all 18 years of my life, I've realized that anything that comes to you "easily" usually isn't something that you deserve. I want to work as hard as I can and learn NEW materials, not just review old shit and get an A for sitting there acting stupid. One thing about me, I get bored very easily (it's a "gifted" thing lol) so if I don't feel challenged, I'll say fuck it because I won't feel like it's worth my time. So that's why I'm at UNF; to get the ultimate learning experience and to push myself. I want to show the world,and myself, that I'm a teen mother but dammit I'm just as smart as the next person,and maybe even smarter. If I would've stayed at FSCJ, I would've felt like all my hard work to graduate was a waste because I didn't bust my butt to go to a community college with people I grew up with. I worked hard so that I could go to a University and get top of the line instruction and meet people from all over the world who came to that same school with similar goals as my own: to SUCCEED beyond what everyone expects. I have a good job, I'm at an awesome school, my kids are healthy and brilliant, I'm not homeless and broke and dirty...I'm the bomb right now and anyone who disagrees, please let me know what i can do to be even better than i am now because this year, that's my goal: to be better tomorrow than i am today...
but yea...enough of that inspirational stuff lol...
I'm goin to a babyshower today!(and its not mine!yaayy!!lol)im so excited to see my frenz from highschool that i havent seen since graduation. what else is new?hmm...oh!,we got that dance game on the wii and that game is the shizzy like foreal.if u dont have that game,go get it!if u dont have a wii,come over to my place and we can throw down on it bcuz ive mastered this thing lol.i
lol.its pretty cute! hmm...oh and SHOUT OUT TO FRESHKIDDEV! for showin some love...i kno it was a while back like in october lol but umm yeaa...hmm...thts it i think?oh and thanks lorne for followin my blog...if your reading this,feel free to comment.i love feedback :) tht way i know im not just typing into cyberspace lol.well....hopefully i can keep up with these blogs this year.idk tho cuz im so busy with school work and bull u kno?lol.but yea my class are great.i've met alot of kool ppl...my books were only like 30 a piece so i still have some cash from my loan left.omg i bought a hoodie from the book store and they left the ink thing on there!and i bought it bcuz i hate wearin my parker softball hoodie bcuz my names on the back and ppl tht i dont kno will call my name out and stuff and tht gets a little annoying lol.so i go int here,find a super comfy,cute navy blue unf hoodie and im so excited to rock this thing wen i get to work and the damn ink clamp was on it!i was soooo irritated,and cold...so i put the hoodie on anyways and since the ink thing is like right under the hood,i left the hood down and thugged it out lol.def some bull rite?but yea...i bought tina a lil hoodie too and hers ddnt have one on there so idk what thts about...i wouldve gotten a hoodie for lizzy boo but they only had one small size left and it was a 3T so i just got her a cute shirt.and i bought this awesome make up book!i know everybodys tellin me i dont NEED make up and tht i look nice with or without it but i like make up!so let me wear it!lol.but yea...i gotta get dressed and ready for my day so thts all for now! :)
